Our technicians are trained through the Harley Davidson’s   Vehicle Maintenance training program at the factory and have years of experience and training when it comes to working on your motorcycle. 1000/5000 mile service procedures are listed below. Replace oil And filter Inspect oil and brake line for leaks Inspect and clean air cleaner Inspect tread and check tire pressure Check wheel spoke tightness* Replace primary chain case fluid Adjust primary chain ** Replace transmission fluid Adjust and lube clutch cable Inspect rear sprockets and adjust rear belt Adjust and lubricate throttle and enrichner cables Lubricate clutch and brake levers Lubricate kickstand Inspect fuel valve, lines and fittings for leaks Check brake fluid level and condition Inspect brake pads and discs for wear Inspect and lubricate brake components Inspect and lubricate shifter linkage Replace spark plugs Check operation of electrical equipment and switches Electrical diagnostic trouble code check Check idle speed Adjust and lubricate steering head bearing Lubricate hinges and latches Check pressure of air suspension *** Check tightness of all critical fasteners Inspect engine mounts and stabilizer links Inspect battery Road test bike * Only applicable for motorcycles with spoke wheels ** Not applicable for motorcycles with an automatic primary chain tensioner ***Applicable for motorcycles with air suspension
